However, I click away, click back to that paragraph, and the check box has re-enabled itself. So, click on the second paragraph, clear the "do not check spelling." check box, that does the trick. For the paragraph above it is checked off. If I look at Review / Language / Set Proofing Language when I hit this paragraph the "do not check spelling or grammar" option is check on.

The majority of the doc is fine, but when you hit a particular paragraph, spell checking stops. I have looked into one such document today and found what I think is the cause of this problem, but I am stuck for a solution.
